1. What is the local impact your organization has achieved regarding your selected SDG? (No Word Limit)

Key2enable has significantly impacted communities in different parts of the world like Brazil and UAE by making education accessible to students with disabilities. Our technology has empowered thousands of students, enabling them to participate actively in their education, and fostering a sense of independence and inclusion. In urban centers and philanthropists globally we have collaborated with schools to integrate our solutions, enhancing the learning experience for students with diverse needs. To reduce technological barriers, we have enabled these students to achieve academic success and trained educators and caregivers, equipping them with the necessary tools to support their students effectively.

2. What is the global impact your organization has achieved regarding your selected SDG? (No Word Limit)

Globally, Key2enable has expanded its reach to several countries across Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe, bringing inclusive education to students with disabilities in various educational settings. Our assistive technology solutions have been adopted by schools and institutions in over 10 countries, impacting thousands of students. Our work has contributed to the global discourse on inclusive education, advocating for the rights of students with disabilities and influencing educational policies. Through partnerships with international organizations and participation in global conferences, we have raised awareness about the importance of reducing inequalities in education and have inspired other nations to adopt similar approaches.

3. What is the scalability of your innovation and how do you plan to achieve it? (No Word Limit)

Key2enable’s innovation is highly scalable, with the potential to reach over 10 million students globally within the next five years. This scalability is driven by the platform's adaptability to different educational systems and environments. We plan to achieve this by forming partnerships with governments, NGOs, and educational institutions, enabling us to expand into underserved regions. Our strategy includes translating our platform into over 15 languages, customizing it to meet local needs, and developing low-cost versions to ensure affordability. Additionally, we aim to train 50,000 educators and caregivers, empowering them to effectively implement our technology. By continually refining our solutions based on user feedback and technological advancements, we expect to significantly increase our global impact.

4. What is your organization’s unique strategy for using technology to achieve your selected SDG? (150 Words Limit)

Key2enable's unique strategy involves integrating our AT Solutions with inclusive education principles to reduce inequalities. Our platform, EnableX, leverages artificial intelligence to create personalized learning experiences tailored to each student's needs, regardless of their abilities. Key-X, our alternative keyboard further facilitates the use of technology for people with severe physical and motor difficulties and can seamlessly be used to access EnableX. By offering a combination of hardware and software solutions, we ensure that students with disabilities can access educational content on par with their peers. Additionally, our technology is designed to be user-friendly and adaptable, allowing it to be implemented in various educational settings, from early childhood to higher education. This holistic approach not only enhances desirable learning outcomes but also looks at improving the quality of life of PoDs by ensuring social inclusion, aligning with our commitment to SDG 10.

5. What challenges did you encounter while working for your selected SDG, and how did you address them? (150 Words Limit)

One of the primary challenges we encountered was resistance to adopting new technology in traditional educational settings. Educators and institutions were often hesitant to change established practices, particularly when integrating technology for students with disabilities. To address this, we provided comprehensive training and support to educators, showcasing the effectiveness of our solutions through pilot programs and success stories. Additionally, we faced financial challenges in upgrading our solution to meet the diverse needs of our users. We tackled this by seeking strategic partnerships and funding opportunities that allowed us to invest in continuous research and development. This collaboration with experts in special education, occupational therapy, and software development helped refine our products, ensuring they were accessible and effective for all users.

6. How did you engage local communities and stakeholders in your work, and what was their feedback? (150 Words Limit)

We actively engaged local communities and stakeholders by organizing workshops, training sessions, and collaborative projects with schools, parents, and government and non-government organizations, Rehabilitation/Special needs centers. We involved special educators, therapists, professionals as well Youth in the development and implementation of our solutions, ensuring they were tailored to meet local needs. Feedback from these stakeholders has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the transformative impact of our technology on students with disabilities. Parents have reported significant improvements in their children's confidence and academic performance, while educators have expressed appreciation for the support and resources provided by Key2enable. This collaborative approach has strengthened our relationships with local communities and ensured the success of our initiatives.

7. Which organizational skills and resources did you use to deliver goods/services without harming the environment or society? (150 Words Limit)

Key2enable places a strong emphasis on sustainability and social responsibility across all our operations. We ensure sustainable practices during our training sessions, both online and offline, by minimizing paper use and maximizing digital platforms to lower our carbon footprint. Our products are designed as one-time purchases to reduce waste. Additionally, we actively participate in community initiatives that promote environmental awareness, encouraging schools and institutions to adopt green practices alongside our educational tools. By leveraging our expertise in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, we deliver high-quality products that positively impact society while also contributing to environmental preservation. Through these efforts, we align our operations with both social and environmental responsibility, creating a holistic approach to achieving our mission.

8. In your view what roles do businesses, governments, and civil society should play in achieving the SDGs, and how can they collaborate effectively? (150 Words Limit)

Businesses, governments, and civil society each have crucial roles in achieving the SDGs. Businesses ought to drive innovation and create sustainable solutions that address global challenges while ensuring ethical practices. Governments are accountable for establishing policies and providing funding to support these initiatives, ensuring that resources are allocated equitably. Civil society plays a key role in advocacy, raising awareness, and holding both businesses and governments accountable. Collaboration between communities is essential for success, with each sector bringing its strengths to the table. Effective partnerships require open communication, shared goals, visions, missions and a commitment to inclusivity. By working together, these entities can create a powerful synergy that accelerates progress toward the SDGs, ensuring that no one is left behind.

9. What advice do you have for individuals or organizations aiming to create positive change and support the SDGs? (150 Words Limit)

My advice is to start with a clear vision and a strong commitment to making a difference. By focusing on understanding the specific challenges at hand, you can develop innovative solutions that are both scalable and sustainable. Collaboration is key—connecting with partners and like-minded organizations, engaging with local communities, and seeking input from stakeholders ensures that your efforts are impactful and relevant. Being adaptable and open to learning from failures is essential, as these experiences often provide valuable insights for future success. Lastly, measure impact and continuously refine your approach to maximize positive outcomes. One needs to remember that eventually, all these efforts are to provide the underserved communities with equal opportunities, and a leveled playground. Hence, by staying dedicated to one’s mission and embracing collaboration and innovation, onecan significantly contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.

This recognition would open doors to new partnerships, funding opportunities, and collaborations, enabling us to expand our reach and bring our inclusive education solutions to more communities worldwide. The award would also validate our efforts and motivate our team to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in assistive technology. Additionally, the resources and network that come with the award would allow us to accelerate our research and development, further enhancing our product offerings and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation in the field of inclusive education. Ultimately, winning the award would provide us with the necessary recognition and support to make a greater impact in reducing inequalities in education and improving the lives of students with disabilities globally.

Our future objectives for SDG 10 focus on expanding the reach of our inclusive education solutions to underserved regions globally. We aim to enhance our solutions capabilities, integrating more advanced AI features to personalize learning experiences further and address a wider range of disabilities. We also plan to develop localized versions of our technology to meet the specific needs of different cultural and linguistic contexts. Another key objective is to increase our collaboration with governments and educational institutions to influence policy changes that promote inclusive education on a broader scale. Additionally, we will continue to invest in research and development to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and effective. By pursuing these goals, we hope to contribute to a world where every student, regardless of their abilities, has access to quality education and the opportunity to succeed.
