1. What is the local impact your organization has achieved regarding your selected SDG? (No Word Limit)

RSE Time was born out of a partnership with Vermeg, specifically to serve all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). RSE Time has created a dynamic online community focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the importance of partnerships for sustainable development, aligning with SDG 17. Through our platform, RSE Talk, we launched a podcast streamed live on LinkedIn to foster real-time interaction with our audience. This podcast aims to raise awareness among companies, demystify CSR, and share expertise and experiences from CSR/ESG experts, business leaders, CSR managers, and innovative solutions developed by startups operating in the CSR/ESG sectors. With over 3,300 members on LinkedIn and 1,000 on Facebook, our initiative has facilitated dialogue among local businesses, associations, and individuals on responsible practices. To date, we have produced 16 episodes on our YouTube channel, organized 10 awareness workshops, and hosted 2 webinars, contributing to the adoption of CSR practices in numerous Tunisian companies while emphasizing the importance of collaboration. We are also excited to announce that the second season of the podcast will launch on September 6th.

2. What is the global impact your organization has achieved regarding your selected SDG? (No Word Limit)

Although RSE Time is still in its early stages, our global vision is to create a CSR ecosystem that transcends Tunisian borders and fosters collaboration on a global scale. RSE Time was born out of a partnership with Vermeg to support all 17 SDGs. As a digital platform, our goal is to onboard all actors within the CSR ecosystem. Recently, we signed a significant contract with Vermeg, ensuring that our platform will be used by their global network, spanning 40 countries. Initially, we have launched in Tunisia, where Vermeg’s headquarters are located, and within the next three months, we will expand our reach to the remaining countries. In September, we will also be signing a contract with Wimbee and its international partners, further expanding our global footprint. Our platform facilitates the connection of companies worldwide with associations, startups, NGOs, and other stakeholders who share the same values, enabling them to collaborate on joint projects aligned with the SDGs. By offering a centralized and digitalized approach, RSE Time supports the implementation of impactful initiatives across borders, ensuring that the contributions of companies, NGOs, and other partners are effectively aligned with the SDGs, particularly SDG 17, which emphasizes partnerships for the goals. This global outreach will enable us to make a tangible difference, not only in Africa but also in other regions, as we work towards creating a sustainable and inclusive future.

3. What is the scalability of your innovation and how do you plan to achieve it? (No Word Limit)

RSE Time is designed to be highly scalable, thanks to its SaaS architecture. We plan to expand into other markets by adapting our solution to local contexts while maintaining a personalized approach for each company. Our strategy is built on strategic partnerships with international associations and businesses, continuous improvement of our platform based on user feedback, and the integration of technological innovations to enhance employee engagement. We also aim to expand our platform by adding additional modules to onboard as many stakeholders within the CSR ecosystem as possible. This will enable companies to find any potential partner—be it associations, experts, startups, NGOs, universities, local communities, or other companies—with whom they can create value. Through this approach, RSE Time will contribute to creating a real impact, benefiting the community, the planet, and especially future generations. Furthermore, we plan to pursue funding rounds starting in mid-2025 to fuel our growth and innovation.

4. What is your organization’s unique strategy for using technology to achieve your selected SDG? (150 Words Limit)

RSE Time is the first SaaS platform in Tunisia that digitalizes corporate CSR activities while connecting them with associations aligned with their CSR goals and challenges, and actively involving employees. We leverage technology to centralize and digitize CSR initiatives, making these programs more accessible and engaging for companies. Our SaaS platform offers a personalized interface that allows businesses to set specific CSR objectives, encourage employee participation, and track the real impact of their actions through interactive dashboards. By facilitating connections with local and international associations that share the same SDGs, we maximize the impact of each initiative. This collaborative digital approach enables us to support companies in achieving the SDGs in a measurable and effective manner.

5. What challenges did you encounter while working for your selected SDG, and how did you address them? (150 Words Limit)

One of the major challenges we encountered was convincing local companies of the added value of CSR. To overcome this, we organized awareness sessions, highlighted successful case studies, and developed impact measurement tools to demonstrate the tangible benefits of CSR. These efforts are gradually shifting mindsets and strengthening corporate commitment to sustainable practices. Another key challenge was finding and connecting with the right partners committed to creating true, lasting impact. Our focus is on building partnerships that generate real value for the companies involved, the community, the planet, and humanity as a whole.

6. How did you engage local communities and stakeholders in your work, and what was their feedback? (150 Words Limit)

We actively engaged local communities and stakeholders through our Live podcast series on LinkedIn focused on CSR. Additionally, we collaborated with local associations to co-develop projects tailored to the specific needs of these communities. Although we are still in the early stages, we have built a strong community on LinkedIn, achieving 150,000 impressions, an 11% engagement rate, and 71,500 unique views—all organically, without sponsorship. We continue our efforts both on social media through our RSE Talk initiative and awareness pages, as well as through our digital platform. We also maintain a blog where we publish articles on CSR. The attendance at our awareness workshops has been encouraging, reflecting positive community engagement.

7. Which organizational skills and resources did you use to deliver goods/services without harming the environment or society? (150 Words Limit)

RSE Time leverages a blend of organizational skills such as project management, technological innovation, and cross-sector collaboration to deliver services that are environmentally and socially responsible. We employ agile methodologies to develop our platform, enabling quick adaptation to changing needs while minimizing our carbon footprint through the use of cloud infrastructure. Additionally, we prioritize partnerships with suppliers and collaborators who share our ethical and environmental values, ensuring a responsible value chain. We also practice sustainability in our daily operations by using a hybrid vehicle and encouraging carpooling and being hosted in a shared open space with other startups to optimize energy use.

8. In your view what roles do businesses, governments, and civil society should play in achieving the SDGs, and how can they collaborate effectively? (150 Words Limit)

In my opinion, businesses, governments, and civil society each have complementary roles in achieving the SDGs. Businesses should integrate the SDGs into their strategies and operationalize responsible actions. Governments need to establish a supportive regulatory framework and provide incentives to encourage sustainable practices. Civil society should act as a catalyst, raising awareness and mobilizing communities for impactful projects. At RSE Time, we believe that both companies and their employees can drive real change and create value for communities, the planet, and future generations. Effective collaboration relies on transparency, mutual engagement, and public-private-citizen partnerships based on shared goals and concrete actions.

9. What advice do you have for individuals or organizations aiming to create positive change and support the SDGs? (150 Words Limit)

My advice for individuals or organizations aiming to create positive change and support the SDGs is to start by identifying the specific goals that align with their core values and mission. Focus on areas where you can make the most impact and set clear, measurable objectives. Collaboration is key—partner with like-minded organizations, communities, and stakeholders to leverage collective strengths. Embrace innovation and technology to amplify your efforts and make sustainable practices more accessible. It's also crucial to stay committed, be patient, and maintain transparency in your actions. Regularly assess your progress, learn from challenges, and be open to adapting your approach. Additionally, prioritize the awareness and engagement of employees, as this can shift mindsets and create a ripple effect of positive change within and beyond your organization. Remember, small, consistent actions can lead to significant change, and by fostering a culture of responsibility and engagement, you contribute not just to achieving the SDGs but to building a better future for all.

10. How would winning this SDG Award help you enhance your impact and expand your project? (150 Words Limit)

Winning this SDG Award would significantly boost our credibility and visibility, enabling us to expand our network of partners and reach new businesses and associations. It would also provide the resources needed to enhance our platform, develop new features, and extend our presence internationally, particularly in Africa. Additionally, we would be proud to receive this recognition, which will motivate us to work harder and continue our journey of changing mindsets for the greater good. This award would also offer us a unique opportunity to share our best practices and inspire other organizations to actively contribute to achieving the SDGs.

11. What are your future objectives regarding your selected SDG? (150 Words Limit)

Our future objectives regarding SDG 17 focus on deepening and expanding our partnerships to create a more robust and interconnected ecosystem for responsible business practices. We aim to scale our RSE Time platform globally, enabling more organizations to collaborate effectively on sustainable development initiatives. We plan to continuously enhance our platform's features to facilitate stronger connections between businesses, NGOs, startups, and other key stakeholders, fostering more impactful collaborations that drive measurable change. We are committed to developing new tools and resources that will empower organizations to achieve the SDGs through shared knowledge, innovative solutions, and collective action. Additionally, we plan to secure strategic partnerships and funding that will allow us to extend our reach and influence, ensuring that more companies can integrate SDG 17 into their operations. Ultimately, our goal is to contribute significantly to building a sustainable and inclusive future by leveraging the power of collaboration and digital innovation.
