Terms and Conditions

By applying to the SIERA Awards, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before submitting your application.

1. Eligibility
  • To be eligible for the SIERA Awards, applicants must meet the specific eligibility criteria outlined on the official SIERA Awards website.
  • Employees, directors, and immediate family members of individuals associated with the SIERA Awards organizing team (including EUTECH and the SIERA Alliance) are not eligible to apply.
2. Application Process
  • Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official SIERA Awards website within the deadlines specified for each award phase.
  • All submitted information must be accurate, complete, and truthful. Misrepresentation or falsification may result in immediate disqualification.
  • Applicants are solely responsible for ensuring that all content included in their submissions (text, images, videos, or multimedia) complies with applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
3. Evaluation and Judging
  • Applications will be reviewed and evaluated according to the criteria published on the official website and relevant category pages.
  • The evaluation process includes internal reviews, shortlisting, expert judging panels, and public voting phases (where applicable).
  • All judging decisions are final and binding. The SIERA Awards team reserves the right to disqualify any application that violates these terms or fails to meet the eligibility requirements.
4. Intellectual Property
  • By submitting an application, you grant the SIERA Awards a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display your application materials for promotional, informational, educational, and marketing purposes, including in SIERA communications, publications, podcasts, and events.
  • You represent and warrant that you have full rights and authority to grant this license and that your submission does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.
5. Privacy
  • All personal and organizational information collected through the application process will be managed in accordance with the SIERA Awards Privacy Policy.
  • By applying, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data for the purposes of evaluation, communication, and promotion within the SIERA Awards framework.
6. Award Presentation
  • Finalists and winners will be notified using the contact details provided in their applications. If a selected winner does not respond within the given timeframe, the award may be reassigned to the next eligible finalist in the respective category.
  • The SIERA Awards reserves the right to alter the award format, categories, timeline, or presentation mechanism at its discretion.
  • Winners are expected to participate in promotional activities, interviews, or virtual appearances as part of the post-award engagement. Inability or refusal to comply may lead to forfeiture of the award title.
7. Limitation of Liability

The SIERA Awards, its organizers (including EUTECH), affiliates, officers, employees, partners, and agents shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the awards program.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Switzerland.
